Basic insurance

Psychological psychotherapy has been covered by basic insurance since July 1st, 2022. The prerequisite for this is an order from a doctor, e.g. a general practitioner, gynecologist or psychiatrist. These can issue an order for 15 sessions of psychotherapy, which can be extended once. After these 30 hours, a psychiatrist will need to assess the need for further treatment and write a report if further sessions are required.

If you have any questions about this, you can get information from the FSP or the VPB, or feel free to contact me.

Self-payer

You can pay the fee privately if you do not want to have your basic insurance cover the treatment. The hourly rate (60min) is 180 CHF. This includes the preparation and follow-up of the respective session. I charge for other activities, e.g. writing reports, based on the hourly rate.

Accident insurance

If you need psychotherapy as a result of an accident, your accident insurance can cover the costs, but this must be applied for at the beginning of the treatment. If you have had to suffer physical or psychological violence and come to psychotherapy because of these experiences, you can contact the victim support service in your region and apply for cost coverage, which must be clarified before the treatment begins.

Cancelation

If you are unable to keep an agreed appointment, it must be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. If you cancel at short notice, I will charge you half of the fee, and if you fail to appear unannounced, the full rate.
